September 2nd – First day of classes at the Career Immersion High School.
September 2nd – September 26th - Nursing Assistant Registered classes certificate training.
September 3rd – The North Metro Area Job Fair at Brookdale from 10:00 – 3:000. Companies will be hiring for careers in Accounting, Clerical, Customer Service, Health Care, Management, Manufacturing, Retail, Sales, Security and many more. You can reach Brookdale by using Metro Transit bus routes 5, 19, 22, 717, 721, 722, 723, 724 and 801.
September 8th – School of Business classes begin.
September 8th – CPR Certification.
September 12th – Career Development Day from 1:30 – 4:30, sponsored by Wells Fargo.
September 15th – October 20th (Mon. – Thurs.) Emergency Medical Technician Training.
September 16th – Fare for All Express will be at AIOIC from 2:00 – 4:00 selling quality food packs of meat, fresh vegetables, and fresh fruit for 30-50% off grocery store prices. Cash, credit/debit cards, or food support funds (EBT) are accepted.
September 29th – October 1st – Home Health Aide Training.

Ongoing activities:

Mondays –

Minneapolis Employment Training Program orientation and testing 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. We can only serve the first 10 applicants so arrive early.
In-an-da’-we program meeting from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m.

Tuesdays –

Adult Basic Education testing for all of those entering school programs from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Testers must arrive on time.

Wednesdays –

American Indian Workforce Investment Act Program orientation and testing – 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP) will conduct the Adult Basic Education testing (TABE) as needed.
Free Law Clinic every Wednesday from 1:00 – 3:00 at the MN Women’s Resource Center
