Fifteen students graduated from our Takoda Prep alternative high school in 2021, double the number from the previous year. The accomplishment reflected the dedication of both teachers and students, as well as improved implementation of online learning.
Takoda Prep, which serves students aged 14 – 21, is under contract with Minneapolis Public Schools and focuses on helping all students make advancements in core academic competencies while maintaining a strong connection to American Indian culture. The school features a unique, small-class environment that allows students to receive individualized instruction and support.
